Luxurious and beautiful, the main self-catering guesthouse is an entertainer’s dream – perfect for entertaining a large family or group.

Whether cooking up a storm in the large kitchen; celebrating in the luxurious dining area that comfortably seats up to 18 people; watching the game in the living area; hosting the perfect ‘Deck Party’ in the spacious Mariner’s Lounge; or offering after-dinner drinks in the more intimate Ship Bar, you are surrounded by luxury and breath-taking views.

The main guesthouse comfortably accommodates 10 to 12 people in four fabulous bedrooms & 2 sleeper couches, while the self-catering apartment can be linked via an interleading door to provide a 5th room for another two guests.

The Living Area

The main guesthouse welcomes you with a beautiful living space, equipped with a large screen TV, offering DSTV premium – perfect for watching sports, lounging between beach walks or enjoying a great movie. Warm and welcoming, the living area features an indoor braai, a grand fireplace and underfloor heating, ideal for gatherings no matter the weather.

It also provides a dedicated business zone for guests, with a professional workspace and WiFi connectivity.

Mariners Lounge & Ship Bar

Beyond the living area lies two of our main attractions: the grand Mariner’s Lounge and the exclusive Ship Bar.

The Mariner’s Lounge is ideal for long, leisurely coffee breaks; picture-perfect sundowners; lively get-togethers; or even quiet sea-side evenings.

The large open space is warmed by a charming old-fashioned fireplace, it features luxurious comfortable loungers with amazing views of the beach and the ocean beyond.

The Ship Bar adjacent to the Mariner’s Lounge offers a more intimate space, with DSTV, as well as an authentic mariner’s spotter scope for gazing beyond the waves during the day or marvelling at the stars at night. Enjoy a drink while watching your beloved sporting event or cuddle up with Netflix. There is a sleeper couch in the Ship Bar.

Kitchen & Dining Area

The fully functional and beautifully appointed kitchen is well equipped, including a dishwasher, a large side-by-side fridge-freezer and a gas stove as backup in case electricity is temporarily unavailable due to loadshedding. Laundry services are available on request.

The beautiful dining area can comfortably seat 18 people – ideal for enjoying meals together and creating amazing memories… all with a view of the ocean waves!

The kitchen and dining area also features a beautiful old fashioned ‘Godin’ indoor fireplace, perfect for enjoying quality wine from the Cape Winelands around the fireplace.

When In Yzerfontein – We Braai!

You’re on the West Coast of South Africa, so naturally you are going to want to enjoy the locals’ favourite pastime, and BRAAI!

For your convenience we offer an indoor braai area adjacent to the Mariner’s Lounge perfect for any time and any weather.

Each one of the four spacious bedrooms inside the main self-catering guesthouse is stylishly decorated in a beautiful beach theme, has its own TV with DSTV or Netflix and offers magnificent sea views.

“Rest assured” you will enjoy a good night’s rest on the king-sized beds and luxurious linen that is standard in each of our rooms. There are hairdryers available throughout the house.
